Meet the Founder: Loren Lapow, MSW
Loren Lapow, founder and director of the Maui Hero Project, holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and established the program in 1996. For nearly three decades, he has worked with individuals, families, schools, tribal communities, and entire districts—guiding people of all ages through profound personal transformation. Drawing on nationally recognized, evidence-based "best practice" techniques, Loren is known for his unique ability to help others navigate life crises and reclaim their power. His work has helped thousands move from roles of victim or villain to the empowered identity of the hero. Sessions are available for individuals, couples, families, and groups—delivered via phone, video, in-office, at home, or in immersive experiential settings.
