Sometimes we find ourselves in need of more than a vacation, or more than a weekly visit to a therapist. Sometimes, we are simply brought to our knees in a dire plea for help. We hear the call to change our lives, but do not have the strength or direction enough to do it alone. We need a guide to lead us through through the sometimes narrow and even treacherous corridors of self-discovery.
Creating custom individual, family or small group adventure-based rites of passages has been my sole occupation, passion and mission for over 25 years. I can help you with alcoholism, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, anger issues, family discord, stages in life crisis, or other treatment resistant disorders. We will discuss your dilemma/problem, your interests, outdoor skills and physical limitations in order to design a personalized rite of passage specifically for you.
Once on Maui, I will lead you on a journey of self-discovery. At times it will be arduous, heartbreaking, enlightening and exhilarating. You will be introduced to Hawaiian cultural practitioners, skilled therapists and others who have been through the journey themselves. Together, we will prepare you for the kind of experiences on Maui that touch the soul so deeply they move us to tears of joy, gratitude and healing.
